Has anyone heard about this yet?
I just got an email that says it was signed in as law on Friday.

Just as a quick update......
I attended our bi-monthly Delaware Valley Fire Chiefs Association meeting last night the "law and legislature" representative did verify that this is indeed a law in NJ now.
I say outstanding job to those who pushed this through and made the idea a reality! All NJ firefighters should take this information back to their respective companies and make sure everyone is aware that this exists.
It also appears to be retroactive "on or after January 1, 2000" so I'm sure there are many families that deserve to be informed.

It is an excellent bill.. I believe it was retro'd that far to cover Jimmy Heenan and the guys who died in Gloucester last year, among others.

Bravo! But why was it kept so quiet? This is good PR for the politicians....hmmm.
Proudly serving as the IACOJ Minister of Information & Propoganda!
