I was wondering if anyone has any online pictures of unique vehicle striping instead of the normal stright or Z.

    Thanks!

Try Cypress Creek VFD in the Houston area.

Both of our rigs with this stripe design were done by the same company out of San Antonio, Texas by the name of Reflective Dynamics. This is our 2001 E-One 95' ladder tower quint, Tower 2:

Just to clarify. The green is NOT reflective on our trucks. The black is reflective and there is white in between the colors on the body. Also, the black lettering and company patches are reflective as well as a reflective red/white strip in the rub rail.

STATION2 how do you guys like the tomar bar. I have seen it used before but I am curius what you think of it. Compared to whelen what would you say. On appratus striping I dont see the need for radical designs. If you have high traffic area you park in then look at the way the DOT stripes the back of their vehicles to caution traffic.

    Tshays,

All CypressCreek units have Whelen lightbars with the exception of two or three chiefs rides. We went with one of the standard NFPA light packages from Wheelen when specing the rigs. The striping is attractive and very very visible when profiled and we believe helps our intersection clearing visibilty at night.

Tshayes, as for the TOMAR light bars I can sum it up in 2 words: LOVE THEM. Very bright day or night and better than the Whelen in a side by side comparison. We did day and night, sun set and sun rise comparisons and the Tomar won hands down. The nice thing is also the upgrade for the Opticom is easier and hence less expensive on the Tomar and looks alot better when installed as you cannot tell it is a traffic preemption flash rate until it is on. Over all, wouldn't leave Tomar on bet. Just my thoughts.
