Good idea I like it. we have in the Chicago area a group called Firenet Chiecago. Been around for about 12 years. I've been a member for almost it's entire time. Good notifications, updates and multiple subsciber groups. You can pick and choos what you want to receive ie EMS FIRE WEATHER, broken down in to geographic area. Works realy well! No complaints. They have a large staff of "dispatchers" that work in shifts covering area which they can monitor best, or answer hotline (voicemail) notifications.

YMFPA
I'm a member of FirePage Ohio® and I also run a small department specific paging group which pages incidents for the city of Youngstown, Ohio. I think that incident paging services are neat ideas. It's a great way to document the day to day actions of a fire department.

Are you C339?
Why aren't groups with recip national agreements getting pages? (MFN, HNAN, FPNW, etc?)
And whats the deal with SO MANY pages on one FDNY incident? We've got EAN, MNS and NEFNN all going ape$h!t over the same thing? Shouldn't you worry about that before ragging on people about little paging tags?!
