We just started an Honor guard here. We got official DoD training in how to hold military style funerals from the local American Legion. Your local vets org. should be able to help you too with everything you need to know. It takes very little modifying to convert military to fire service. Easy things like instead of a 21 gun sallute you ring a fire bell etc.
Good luck."What makes a person run into a building others are running out of?...Character."- Dennis Smith
