What do you do about it ? How do you tell someone that they stink ?

I don't understand how they can't smell it themselves ?

Start wearing SCBA everytime your around them...maybe then they'll get the point.
I guess their personality would dictate how I approached them.

    Default personal hygiene

We have a firefighter on our department that also works on a farm. Now telling you that, you know what he smells like when he comes in to the (as we aptly call it) fire BARN. Might I suggest you put personal hygiene products in his mailbox. He may not even know that he has an odor problem, after all a skunk can't smell its own smell. Ha Ha

    Default HAHAHA,

you guys realy made me laught.I had friend in college, and she (yeah, female)had the same problem, she did not even smelled herself.Anytime she passed by I would take out my little Lysol spray and spray around.Althoud everybody was laughing, she did not get the point, untill I've lost it completely and lift up her arm and sprayed the Lysol directly under her armpit.I'm not sure if that will work for you,but give it a try!HEHE

    Default Stank

I found it best just be up front with the person. ( Out of ear shot of others) Just tell them in private. Some people do have a medical condition that can be problem.

When working on a Ship There is no going home at the end of the nite You work and live with the same people day in day out I worked with A guy (short story) who was flown of.f the ship by chopper because of BEEEE OOOOHHHH leave me It was bad A few years later we meet again. Right up front I took him aside "rescue112" and talked to him about other peoples perception of him in a non confrontational way. It changed everyones opinion of him because it changed his perception of himself. Sometimes point blank blunt in an honest way is the kindest way. ktsrktsr can you say silage gas

I think everyone knows someone like this st one point or another. We have a couple of those, too. I believe at least 1 has been talked to about it, but nothing has changed. People have tried the soap on a rope on his gear, air fresheners, etc, but still no clue.......

    That is funny.

You've gotta tell them they stink... you have to live with them right.
    Maybe you'll be helping them
