Firefighter AND Phys. Assistant?
Has anyone heard of combined jobs for firefighters and Physician Assistants? Obviously firefighter/EMT or Medic is pretty common, but I'm wondering if there is anybody hires this combination.
Anybody know anything about this out there?

This should be interesting. I am heavily considering attending a PA program myself in the next year or two.
It seems to me I read an article that talked of some more progressive services staffing an ambulance with a NP or PA so they could truly bring an ED to the Pt. a few years ago. It was in the beginning stages but it should be interesting to say the least."Too many people spend money they haven't earned, to buy things they don't want, to impress people they don't like." Physician Assistants and Firefighters...
I haven't heard anything like this being done up in Canada, but mind you the things that are down in the USA differ than up in Canada.Firefighters are beneficial to every community with the wealth of information they have!
They don't get enough praise, for the information and skills they know! It could save your life one day!!!!!
