    Question magazine archives

    Any update on when the Firehouse magazine archives will be available?

    This was one of the main reasons I signed up for the Members Zone...

    This service will launch in Spring, as was last advertised. It will include about four years (since 98) that are most readily available.

    We're almost done ....just waiting for some files from our counterparts at the magazine to complete the archives.

    Many of the older articles (1999/2000) are active, while others will be soon. This section isn't done yet, so its just for our members to preview.

    There will be expanded author bio pages (some are already listed at http://cms.firehouse.com/launch) and search functions coming in 2004.

    Magazine archives are available (for the articles we can post online) with a two month delay. Most are online since 2002..just browse the archives at http://www.firehouse.com/magazine/

    You can also now browse recent magazine articles on contributor bio pages and on primary section pages (tactics, safety, etc.)

    Keep in mind not all magazine articles are online, for any number of reasons, so occasionally you may run into an issue with certain ones saying 'available soon' or 'not available online' although the title and such will be there since its in an issue.

    Look for more exciting magazine tie-ins coming in the near future, along with the ability to upgrade or renew your account and get both for just $40 (already available for new subscribers, available for all in a few weeks)!

    Webteam, when will this $40 double deal be available for all? My magazine subscription is about to expire and I want to renew it with this option.
