    Default Quick question...

I read this in another post, but I cannot find it.
The person used a saying to remmember the steps of responding to a structure fire. It had something to do with:
    RECESVO=
    Rescue
    Expose
    Contain
    Extinquish
    Salvage
    Ventilate
    Overhaul
Is that correct or am I missing a step in there? Thanks guys!

I think that's it. The only ones I know well are the ones for vehicular rescue, the A-F's and RESCUE.

    A-assess scene
    B-balance (stabilize)
    C-cut roof
    D-doors
    E-enlarge openning
    F-follow-up

    and:

    R-Recon
    E-Extinguish
    S-Stabilize
    C-Clear (entrance)
    U-Untrap (victims)
    E-Extricate

Default Here's what I was taught....

    Remembering back to College....
They taught us RECEO and added V & S:

    Rescue
    Exposures
    Containment
    Extinguishment
    Overhaul

Then added somewhere in the mix (since the timing changes
    with each fire/incident):

    Ventilation
    Salvage

It will be interesting to see what others
    were taught....
