New Show on Discovery Channel...

Hey did any of you hear about the new show discovery channel is now showing. It is called "Critical Rescue" and showcases re-enacted stories based on real life. Thursday nights at 8:00. It is schedueled to start this Thursday i believe (March 13). I have no idea how good it is but hey, it might be worth watching!

I haven't seen the show yet, but I am going to tape it this week. They are re-enacting the Lonz Winery Collapse that happened on Middlebass Island, about 1 hour from here in July of 2000. I had some friends who were there for it.......

As guests poured into the Lonz Winery on Middle Bass Island in Ohio for a 4th of July celebration, the terrace gave way. One hundred people plummeted 20 feet into the winery's cellar and a harrowing rescue mission began.

I watched the one about the San Fran 1989 Quake (you know the one captured live during the World Series Game 3) it was very good. I will continue to watch the series.

I watched it tonight, and was kind of disappointed. It wasn't as good as I thought it would be. They didn't talk to as many of the actual rescue workers who were there as I'd hoped. I think this was something that seemed to be aimed more at the visitors to the island who were helping the fellow tourists........

Yeah I heard that show is supposed to be good I sure hope that it will not prove to be wrong!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was wondering if you did tape the Lonz Winery collapse episode of Critical Rescue. My EMT/firefighter friend saw it some time ago and taped it. Now he can't find the tape for me to see. Would you be willing to mail us a copy? I can pay postage.
