I personally don't think its neccesary and possible to identify the location of the airbag sensors at a crash scene! I would not change my plan of action only because there is the possibility that a sensor is in the way (most Airbag-ECUs need the signal of two idependant sensors to fire an airbag). I just use my safety rules (battery, safety distance etc.), I think that's enough.
