PALM CITY -- Martin County firefighters found smoke billowing out of a warehouse containing a number of aircraft after responding at 2:44 p.m. Sunday to 3520 S.W. Armellini Ave., District Chief Theresa Patton said. The fire was limited to a pile of wood in a corner of the building and was under control by 3:15 p.m., Patton said. The blaze caused smoke damage but spared the aircraft. The cause of the fire is under investigation by the state Fire Marshal's Office, Patton said.
