CT Departments Hiring?

Hello all. I was wondering if anyone knew of any CT depts that will be testing in the near future. Preferably in eastern CT. I just finished testing for the Norwich Dept and ended up pretty low on the list. But I still plan on getting hired somewhere dangnabit!!!!!
If anyone could help me out or point me to a place to find out more info it would be great. Thanks.

Unfortunately you may be hitting a dry period of testing because of budget problems, but don't worry times like this are almost always folllowed by hiring booms (at least in civil service terms). I would call personnell departments in each and every town or city you're interested in to find out, and if need be put your name on prospective candidate lists. The Sub Base in Groton is also a great place to start. Good luck!
