    Question time is money

    Volunteering is volunteering, but im curious if there are any incentives(benifits,money,etc. )?????Thanks again for any help.

    If you are worried about money maye you shouldn't volunteer.

    But to answer your question. Yes, in some departments such as mine we are paid on call, and paid per training night.

    Not much, but we are paid for them.

    The only "pay" we get is the satisfaction of knowing you are helping someone in need. If time is money and you are after money--look for something else

    The only compensation we get is a pension plan. If you are in 30 years, you can get $600.00 a month. You get a pension once you turn 65 if you did at least 5 years.
