Looking for Internet Useage policies

I am looking for copies of internet useage policies other fire departments may have in place...

Here's a copy of part my SOP's about internet use. Hope it helps, Chief 10

1. All members are welcome to use the Internet for departmental or personal use at the station.
2. No program(s) or item(s) will be down loaded onto departmental computers without permission from the fire chief or president.
3. No information about the department or its members will be shared on the Internet, other than the authorized webb site of the department.
4. No member unless authorized to do so by the fire chief or the president will register the department for any products or services.
5. At no time will pornographic material be watched, listened to or down loaded on departmental computers.
6. There will be a 30-minute time limit per person if more than one person is waiting to use the Internet.
7. At no time will use of the Internet interfere will a scheduled event i.e. training, funding rising etc.

How are you defining pornographic??? I only ask because of the difficulty we are having with it... consider this before/while you answer...

1. Even the supreme court couldn't define it.

2. Victoria's secret annual show is shown in prime time...

3. Do you have HBO or Cinemax in the fire house?

4. Have you seen the ads in the sunday paper lately....

5. do you allow Maxim, Playboy penthouse in the fire house

6. do you allow "Pin-up Girl" Posters in the fire house....

This issue can become really complicated in a big hurry!
