About LinkBacksWhat do you think about the LAFD heavy rescue 56. It is
a heavy duty wrecker. I couldn't figure out how to load the
pic but go to the " whats your #1 apparatus" post, it is half way down.

I guess the biggest question would be WHY? Why build such a specialized unit, such as a crane. There are probably only a handful of departments in the US that are large enough and would use such a specialized unit often enough, to actually have one made. What is so great about it, other than the fact that it is a heavy Duty Wrecker, like the kind they use for towing Semi's and it has a lightbar and siren?
