    Default Tones for the IACOJ

In the spirit of Stayback's Fairy Tales, why not have a little entertainment, but at a call.... besides, the other two where getting a little thin on content after a bazzilion posts…..

...all of a sudden all of our pagers and/or radios sounded!!!!

"I.A.C.O.J. respond to Alarm box 26 for a possible structure fire"

As we all made our way to our respective stations we hear the first due Engine, commanded by none other than Captain Gonzo himself, signed on "...
"No one ever called the Fire Department for doing something smart..."

Capt Gonzo reports on scene. "Dispatch, we have a small structure about 3' x 3', single story approximately 25' from the rear of this rural residence. No smoke showing but there is a strong unidentified odor coming from the structure. Expidite Haz-mat"

"Dispatch to Capt. Gonzo. "I said the Schmidt house not the S--T house".

Capt Gonzo notices a large colum of smoke fruther down the road. "Dispatch, copy Schmidt house, we are continuing"

Ohio arrives and sees that there is sufficient personnel for fire attack, so he begins triage. His first patient appears to have an obvious head injury with significant bleeding and possible altered mental status.

Enlisting the help from his last class of EMT-Basic students, Ohio provides care for Stayback. Full C-spine immobilization, high flow O2, and two large bore IV's. Bet I could get a 14 guage in each arm, without even wearing my bifocals. I'd hang two 1000 cc bags of Guiness, but alcohol isn't allowed on the fire scene.

Devil arrives, and being the rookie (no more probie...voted full on Tuesday!!) he waits for instructions, and is instructed to go get the pike pole for the marshmallow!!!

    Then....
Once again....the above views are my own and not that of my department. (And probably should not be construed as having any real meaning, whatsoever!)

...Captain Gonzo appears, wearing is IC vest/cape. Quickly, he takes command and start to issue orders. "You, stretch out that line." "You, hit that hydrant" "You, get the fans ready"

Meanwhile, the rest of us where sorta standing there because Gonzo was behind the engine talking to himself. Stayback quickly got him pointing in the right direction...
