Hello all,
I have just been given the task of re-doing our main stations audio system. This includes installing brand new speakers for toneouts, overhead pa, etc...just wondering if anyone has any ideas on some cheap speakers that work well and maybe you have used or are using in your stations. Thanks.
Stay safe, stay big.

Depends on how you want it to look. The little horn type PA speakers are inexpensive and are usually fine for inside an apparatus bay and outside.
If you have a bunkroom or lounge or something, a nicer looking wall mounted (square) or cieling mounted (round) speaker is usually good. You may need several of each. The ability to control the volume is always nice too.Even the burger-flippers at McDonald's probably have some McWackers.
