ya my advisor has issues with that... last week he had an 18 y.o. kid walk out of his house and into the woods for like two minutes do go hang out or something and his mom calls the fd says he is missing so they are out there at 2am til 5 searching for the kid where his mom said he was and he ended up being with a few of his friends smoking in the woods..he was a little mad at the kid. i would have been too.

Well at my department we had a interesting training where our training officer smoked up the office part of our station with a fog machine then we had to go in with full gear/scba and do search and rescue. It was pretty good and I learned alot from it. Try to get your advisors to do something like that. A well done hose maze can always be a good learning experience.

Your try to find your way out of a buidling feeling the lugs on the hose. There's one kink there you got about 15 other hoses over it and your blindfolded---god I hated that. Just rememeber "Long lug out".
