Angry More gear stolen.....at the Fire School

GRAND ISLAND, Neb. (AP) - This sort of thing isn't supposed to
    happen.
Attending the 66th annual Nebraska State Fire School at Fonner
Park here over the weekend was an expensive proposition for the
    Chapman Volunteer Fire Department.
The department reported $1,600 in equipment was stolen early
Saturday morning from its motel parking lot.
A fire suit, pants, jacket, helmet and other equipment were
missing, Police Capt. Larry Trosper said.
The Chapman firefighters first thought another department was
playing a joke on them, Trosper said. The equipment is still
    missing.

Jokes can be pretty funny, but there are rules. You don't mess with gear, and you don't mess with the operational ability of a truck.

I hope the gear shows up! It seams that this kind of thing is happening more and more, or is it just me?
