I am curious to know if any departments use the NIOSH (LODD) Reports as formal training. I'm sure there are many, I know we do.
Questions: (if used)
1. In what manner are the reports used?
2. Does a questionaire accompany the report?
3. Do you think the information provided is adequate?
I believe the gpm and type of nozzles used should be added to the report. I talked to Richard Brady who oversee's the firefighting portion of NIOSH. He said that that information is most likely noted by the investigators, but not required.

The reports are always fascinating to read. They have been cussed and discussed at a lot of our training sessions. Generally we find all of the pertinent details are included.
