if this is the story that i'm thinking about, it was ejected from a truck involved in an accident.
i wonder more about how it got down. did they dump it and let it fall on the powerlines and cook for a bit or what?

Deer photo from Coast to Coast AM ?
It was getting dawn as we headed to Michigan with veneer White Oak logs. My driver said, as we were getting passed by a young teen late for work, there's deer ahead. He slowed our 80,000 lb load and the teen in his Cutlass never braked untill the last moment. He hit the doe with two young watching on the left grassy shoulder. The doe went 25 to 30 feet into the air, and a train could do the same. I have three related(to my job) semi trucks with a total of 1.6 million miles all with "clean" deer alerts. I do'nt wonder if they work.
