Hey, I'm a noob! :)

Hey folks, just signed up now.. I just started producing my own little news show for my local cable access station (We don't have any stations local to our city, Napa, CA), which to make a long story short, led me to finding fire photography about a month ago etc.. I had no idea there was such a community. Anyways, I ended up hooking up with firephoto.org - Most of the guys here are pretty happy when we get their photos up, and we have photographers in something like 15 states now. Just thought I'd plug a lil hehe Looks like I'm going to be joining a volunteer dept soon if I can work out arrangements for my son. Anyways just thought I'd say hi. Any chance you guys could gimme some critiquing of my photos? Here's some of my favs:

Things are going good up here in Napa. Starting to finally get warm! Unfortunately, due to the unusually large amount of rain we recieved this spring, all the vegetation grew rather fast. I have a feeling it's gonna be a bad summer..

What'd you think of those photos? :P

I'm dying to get published. I'm actually having a hard time selling any of my photos, fire photos, landscapes, portraits, etc. Looks like I'll be forced to go into porn to make any $$ :S

Either that or kid photography or weddings. Which would you pick?
