(Fairfax-AP) -- A career Fairfax County firefighter will soon be
running the place.
The Board of Supervisors is picking Michael Neuhard to be the
new chief of the Fairfax County Fire and Rescue Department. He
starts June second.
Neuhard began as a fireman in 1977, and worked his way up. Most
recently, he was assistant chief for administration.
He takes over from Edward Stinette, who retired last month.
