About LinkBacksLate yesterday afternoon shopers were forced to evacuate a Publix Grocery Store on Dale Mabry Ave & VanDyke Road In Northern Hillsborough County.
About 25 customers were evaluated for complaints that centered around an odor that left a strange taste in their mouth and a burning sensation. Six were transported to area hospitals for further evaluation.
Hillsborough County Fire and Rescue Hazardous Materials Team took necessary precautions and used apppropriate levels of PPE while evaluating the building to determine the source. All readings taken were negative.
