    Angry Need help finding....

    Ladies or gentlemen,

I am in need of a little assistance in finding a site for the manufacturer of a piece of rescue equip. The subject item is a single axle patient evac unit used for off road/rough terrain. It is to be trailered by an ATV of whatever sort, and can easily be hooked up or removed by one person. It has the ability to transport one patient in a stokes basket/litter, has a roll cage over the patient; good suspension for comfort; but is really nothing super fancy, yet seems very effective. I had see this advertised in some related magazine, but was not able to go back and locate it. I specifically remember "trailers" was the last portion of the web address, but it really doe not help any. If anyone has happened to see anything like this anywhere, please let me know. I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you -

The only two wheel trailers i've seen are made by orion industries.

CMC has two types of one wheel units, I've used the russ anderson model and it works well, but you still have to walk the pt out.

Stop the presses, in the April FireRescue pg 54 I found what you described http://www.portagetrailer.com/Rescuetrailer.htm
Never used it but it looks neat.

We have been using very similiar items for a few years now. They are fantastic on our remote mtn trails, but my two cents:

Get the large ATV wheels. We have units with both the HD Bicycle wheels, and the big ATV wheels, and the ride is dramatically different. The big wheels are smoother, more stable, and when deflated part-way they actually float on snow/mud as well.
