OVIEDO, Fla. (AP) - Four young sisters died Friday when their
house erupted in flames, but their parents and a brother escaped
with injuries, according to broadcast reports.
The dead girls were 10, 2 and 5-year-old twins, according to
    WKMG-TV.
The house in this Orlando suburb was engulfed in flames when the
fire was noticed by a passing motorist at about 6:15 a.m.,

An employee at the city fire department said officials were not

Deadly house fire caused by electrical short

(Oviedo-AP) -- State fire investigators say that a house fire
that killed four sisters two weeks ago probably was caused by an
electrical short in an old air conditioning unit.
The fire started in the northeast side of the living room where
the ten-year-old window unit was. The June 13th fire took the lives
of four girls, ages two, five, six and ten.
The early morning fire quickly burned through the roof of the
four-bedroom, wood-frame house, trapping the four girls inside. The
children's parents and a five-year-old brother were able to escape.
Investigators say the children died of smoke inhalation.
