    Default Unification of Fire Raiser's

Seeing how "Arson" is almost a recognised branch of the volunteer Fire Fighting community--how about we make legal? They will have a vehicle with the various incendenary devices --you could almost include it in the Olympic's--they will set their fire, and get their rocks off--the more serious volly's will endevour to put it out. Lawyers will earn a fortune in litigation--points and cash will be awarded for the most original story--the body count amongst those responding will allow the "Wannabee's" to move up the ranks. I can even see the rank structure . Fireraiser Probationer--Chief Lighter--LT Lighterfuel--SupremeburnerinChief--Igniter Extraordinary--ZippoMarshal, etc. Come on you are the land of free enterprise-go for it. This is posted with" tongue rammed firmly into cheek".

I understand. I'll stand by near the Morris County, NJ area and wait for the upcoming explosion...that may result from the above post.

ARE YOU CRAZY! WHAT'S THE MATTER WITH YOU! IS YOUR HEAD........

No seriously, this is an interesting piece that I believe is written out of a combination of frustration and satirical talent. I actually found it quite funny. I get the point.

Gearge...I hear you and agree with you on this one. For years and years the Fire Service in general (volunteer and career) have struggled with budgets, staffing, equipment and almost anything else you can imagine.

Unfortunately it took a horrible tragedy (09-11) for people to realize what we do and things seems to get better for us. Now these morons are not satisfied with the amount of business we already have and attempt to create more for us.

It seems that a tragedy brought us to the forefront and un-excusable actions such as these Arsons, Lairdsville NY, New Castle Wyoming and others now place us under the mircoscope.

Heck...there's a department in West Virginia that probably DID have a rank structure, just as you suggest.

    It's so sad......

NJFFSA16--would you please forward a copy of the private message,I sent to you, to George Wendt? I think we, collectively, can do some good here. At the moment I am trying to "nut out " a plan ,to achieve a positive result, but would apreciate a "Devil's Advocate" . Sorry George, but you fit the bill.
