Just wondering how many of you explorers work with other explorer posts outside of your town or work with different types of posts in your town like pd,ems.
We work with another towns post cause there allowed to ride on trucks and got less regualtions on drills than we do and it also shows another departments view on tattics and training. We are planning on doing something with the police explorers, basicly a medical "detail" at the town park during big events while they direct traffic and patrol.
Just wanted to see if we were the loan duck in this.

we don't do training w/ other posts, but this summer we are doing this thing with boy scouts, girl scouts, etc. to promote all types of scouts in our town, each group will do something differant to show what they r about.

On occassion our post has been known to work with posts outside of our own. It not only prepares us to work with them in the future for actually emergency events. But it also helps to form that inseperable bond of brotherhood.

Just because it's called a throw bag, doesn't mean you throw the whole bag... you're supposed to hold onto the rope.

Our region has 3-4 fairly large (4-6 post) events that are held annually. These include musters, our winter cluster, and our mock disaster day. As for those big events, my post doesnt normally work with another post. However we do work with other organizations such as helping at Scout-o-Rama, Parking cars for football games, and helping out at department functions.
