Tanker 5 was called to assist Unity VFD (Plum Borough Station 1) with a tractor trailer fire on the Pennsylvania Turnpike. The trailer end of a truck filled with Canadian whiskey caught fire from the inside out. The Tanker used its load of foam and water to help fully extinguish the fire. We believe all of the contents were either destroyed or accounted for by the Pa. State Police.
