Ladies and Gentlemen,

My wife and I are looking at moving within the next 6 to 8 months and it will probably be to North Carolina, near Raleigh / Durham, Winston - Salem, or one of the larger cities.

My question is this, how affordable are these cities? What kind of taxes does the state have? Sales tax, income tax, property taxes, etc. Also how is the job market? I am more concerned about it for my wife, I think I could find a job pretty easily as National Registry Medic (I could be worng).

We are in Massachusetts now and cannot afford to live here anymore and the job market is in the toilet. Any help you could give us will be greatly appreciated.

I think you will enjoy this area. The medic job market is very
good at this time. Davidson County EMS is located in the same area
