U.S. Fire Administrator To Appear On NBC Today Show

Washington, DC –U.S. Fire Administrator R. David Paulison will make an appearance on the Today Show, on NBC, this Friday. The Administrator’s interview will be broadcast on July 4, 2003. The Today Show staff have been working with USFA staff to collect information and data on the volunteer firefighters of this nation. A video package focused on volunteer firefighting will also be featured. Check your local listings for times and channels in your location. The interview will be done in New York with Matt and or Katie of the Today Show.
A special thanks to the National Volunteer Fire Council (NVFC), the International Association of Fire Chiefs (IAFC) and the Fallen Firefighters Memorial staff for assisting with the gathering of the background information needed to support this request by NBC to feature volunteer firefighting in America.
USFA is a part of FEMA. Both USFA and FEMA are a part of the Department of Homeland Security.

I saw it was not real impressed when they only give 5 minutes to the whole topic.
I must not have been awake but I thought I saw fireman riding on the tailboard of a truck.
