The FDNY Fire Transport Foundation will ring the opening bell, commencing "Leather Helmets in support of Lethernecks" A ceremony will follow in which a convoy will leave for Camp LeJune, NC with foundation members, 100 FDNY Firefighters, a new FDNY Engine numbered "343"; a restored Chief's car recovered from the WTC & an FDNY flatbed truck with a steel beam from the WTC. -1904hrs - S/C unusual fire - Orchard Townsite (15 miles south of Boise) = E8, Foam 8 > Mutual Aid to BLM for a large pile of Railroad ties that is on fire. Two small building burned, others threatened - large column of smoke.


July 1st
-1719hrs - Haz-Mat - 1055 N. Curtis Rd (West Boise) St.Al's Regional Medical Center = E8, 21, HM12, BC2 & 3. Another anthrax scare - letter sent to pre-natal dept containing white powder. - FBI o/s.
