    Question Gear rack plans?

I am looking to save some money and build some gear racks. Has any one ever done this and have some suggestions. We currently have some ready racks and some old school lockers. Thanks!

My dept has 2 stations, 1 with 25 FFs and the other with 10. Each station has "homemade" gear racks. Ours are made of wood and is rather sturdy for our use. Each rack is about 18 inches wide and are connected together. There is a dowel rod going through about 4 feet off the ground for a hanger to hold the bunker Jackets. The bottom has a shelf about 4 inches off the ground to hold boots/pants. The top is at about 5 feet and the top has a shelf for helmets and gloves. We also ran a clothesline across the front to clip gloves to in order to dry. If you want more info and maybe a picture email me and I'll hook you up. Good luck.
