anumber of fires and heat related calls kept city units busy all day.
8300 moores chaple road. passerby called in fire in 2 stroy wood house. heavy fire on arrival. 50 % of house damaged. 4 firefighters hurt from heat and 2 with steam burns. all treated and relased,engines33,21,25, ladder13 bc 6 w/f rescue10 engine 30 s/c engine2 for spent cews.
balltine commons pky 2 story brick and wood house. another large fire. fire in rear of house and top floor. crews tired quickly. control in 45 min. no one home at either fire. engines32,24,9 ladder32.w/f engine20 rescue 3 bc5,4 dc 9
s/c to county for haz mat spill I 85 at sam wilson.tractor trailer leaking chmicals fast control.2 engines 2 hazmat
