I am a FF/Medic for a small rural department, we are in shambles. The house is a wreck, the personell are disgruntled, most of them have NO pride any longer in the department. The township, approx 5-6 years ago, took over the privately own Fire Dept. and kept all employees and never dealt with any problems the employees had. They also diverted most of the alotted FD budget to other township departments. So most of the fulltimers are disgruntled and the chief does not even stand behind his employees nor repremend the ones that refuse to do the duties of the department. I could go on and on.
