Greetings fellow crusties! Who is going to Baltimore and do we want to meet? I am going down on Wednesday and coming back on Sunday! It would be nice to adjourn to a local gin mill and raise a glass with some of the crustiest people I know!

I'm just outside of Baltimore as well. Unfortunatley, I will be out of town from Friday through Sunday, but if you guys pick a time and place for Wednesday or Thursday night, send me a pm or email me (it's in my profile) and I'll try to hook up with you. Puffy, if you let me know where you guys are staying I might be able to make some suggestions as to where to go.

Puffy...
Looks like you will have to do a little "recruiting"!
"The education of a firefighter and the continued education of a firefighter is what makes "real" firefighters. Continuous skill development is the core of progressive firefighting. We learn by doing and doing it again and again, both on the training ground and the fireground."

Gonzo, I will recruit the crustiest people I know if need be. I am thinking of a time and place to meet, maybe McFadden's on Thursday or Friday night. Suggestions anyone?????

I can hook up with you on Thursday, Puffy. I'll be out of town from Friday to Sunday, unfortunately. The Power Plant, where McFadden's is located, is a pretty neat place. There is also the Wharf Rat right across the street from the Convention Center, but it will likely be swamped.
I'll check with my wife and see if she has any other suggestions. There are some good places in Fells Point, but you have to get over there. It's not hard by water taxi, but you have to keep track of your time so you can get it back to the inner harbor. If you're staying in the vicinity of the Convention Center, McFadden's would be a good place.
Anyone else out there up for a meet and greet? Ryan, is your crew from Texas going to be there this year?Chris Minick, P.E., Firefighter II
