    Default New Light Rescue

The Black Hawk VFD, Black Hawk, SD placed this light rescue in service this week.

    Body built by AMTECH.

2003 Ford F-550 4 X 4 chassis with 6.0L diesel and five speed automatic trans.

Fourteen foot rescue body with seating for three in front of body with air-pak seats. Walk through from cab to front crew area with auxillary heat and air conditioning in the crew area.

AMPS 10K hydraulic generator with eight quartz scene lights (two detachable) and a two hundred foot electric rewind cord reel in the left and right rear compartment.

All major compartments have rollup doors with slide out shelves.

The truck replaces a 1982 department built truck. It is used for fire/accident support and BLS First Responder calls.

    Default Nice Truck

    Rayr49,
Sounds like a nice truck! Do you have a web site where it can be viewed? We are in the process of trying to find a truck simuliar to that. If you dont have a web site to view pics, if you have some you can send them to my personel e-mail.

    Thanks.

I was trying to post a picture but ran in to "technical difficulties".

I'll post one when I get it figured out.

Send me an e-mail with your e-mail address. I'll send you some pictures. Click on my profile to e-mail me..

The vehicle was built by AMTECH (www.amtechusa.net). Click on medium rescue. Ours is similiar to the white one but with roll up doors. It's also white over lime yellow.
