Unhappy NJ Fire Chief killed in auto accident

MAURICE RIVER TOWNSHIP, N.J. (AP) - An auto accident early
Sunday killed the fire chief of Delmont and a nephew who was also a
    volunteer firefighter in the town.
Forty-seven-year-old Gilbert Langlois Jr. and Vincent E.
Langlois, 34, both of Leesburg, died when the 1999 GMC Sierra
pickup truck driven by Gilbert Langlois failed to negotiate a turn
    on High Street in Heislerville.
State police said the truck bounced off the guard rail and
traveled across the road and struck several trees.
The driver and passenger were pronounced dead by the Cumberland
County Medical Examiners Office at 1:50 a.m.
The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
Prior to the accident, the Langlois family made up one-third of
the 21-member fire department in Delmont, a town of about 400
people nestled in the southeastern corner of Cumberland County.
Gilbert Langlois had served as chief since the late 1980's. A
brother took over in the position from 1998 to 2001, and the
chief's son, also named Gilbert, is the assistant chief.
In addition to Vincent, three other relatives have been involved
in the fire department, including Gilbert's mother, Harriet, who
    once served as commissioner.

Hats off to the two firefighters and their families, both at home and at the firehouse. Take care

Of course, that's just my opinion. I could be wrong
