Do you assign specific tools to specfic positions on your Engine and Truck companies? If so what are they? How do they very for different incidents? Example-house fire vs. high-rise. Thanks

Jobs! Jobs!
We assign jobs to seats, You ride in the seat, you do the job. With that approach, the person heading for the assigned job takes the tools that are appropriate for that job. Take the wrong tools a couple of times, and you'll be doing some remedial training. Oh Yeah, Ventilation is done with a chain saw, not a bag-valve-mask.

Although we don't assign tools to specific firefighters they are color coded to each truck.
