Had an interesting call yesterday (August 22nd) we got dispatched to a possible structure fire with smoke showing just down the road from my station, the engine rolled and the rescue (which i was riding on) followed right after the engine, we pulled up and as engine was strecthing lines our rescue crew put our SCBA's on, grabbed our irons and the TIC. We came into the front door and went into initate a search when we were covered with a fine powder which tastly familiar. Come to find out a Dry Powder Fire Extinguisher over pressurised and exploded in the occupant's apartment. He was treated for slight dry powder inhalation and we cleaned up,and when home safe and sound :-)
