It would be sad if it's true. I've "known" in the online internet sense the two of them back at least to 1997 -- they used to be very regular contributers to Fire-L although I was thinking just last month or so I hadn't seen them around in ages.

Its very hard to discern from that site, but I gather people were allegedly defrauded regarding some sort of video?

Apparently, South Jersey Commerce.com (the owner of the linked website), was hired to register, set up, and host a website for Lou and Amy called Bound by Courage.com. South Jersey Commerce.com was never paid for their work, so their turned the website into a warning page to tell their story, and as a place where others who have been stiffed can post their story. If you read down through the posts, the stories range from film production to advertising. The common theme is that these two either billed someone for services, and then never provided the services, or contracted for services, and then never paid up.
Hopefully, none of us will ever run into them.

I used to be a part of a site called Emergency-World.Com. To my knowledge, we were never swindled out of money from Lou & Amy. However, we attempted several partnerships on some projects... and they all fell through. I felt like they were very shady folks then. I'm sorry to hear that my feelings were correct.
