What Type Of Gps?
HELLO, EVERYONE
WHEN OPERATING BRUSH TRUCKS DO YOU HAVE ANY GPS UNITS?
IF SO WHAT TYPE DO YOU LIKE AND WILL IT PLOT YOUR COUSE AS YOU GO IN, SO THAT YOU KNOW WERE YOU HAVE GONE.........OR GOING.
ALSO ANYONE HAVE ONE ON THERE RESCUE BOAT? IF SO WHAT TYPE, AND DO YOU RECOMEND IT?

Nope, our department dont, but I would be pretty sure some of the west coast fire departments would with all the types of areas they cover, and as the GPS on the boats you would probably see it out in the great lakes or ocean or something.

Our main use for GPS is coordinates for Landing Zones. We have an older model Magellan. I don't know the model but it only locks onto 3 satellites. I think the new ones are faster and lock onto 12.
We keep our GPS on our main pumper.
