We are still looking for some much needed equipment from within the state. We are still looking for a porta-tank(any size and make),some 1 1/2" hose(about 8 or 10 sections),a Hurst tool set(an older light duty set is fine),an SCBA filler(cascade or ???)(an older one will work as long as it works),about 4 or 5 radiotelephone handhelds for our dispatching method, some older turnouts will help alot too.Other than these things,we are pretty well set for the things we need.We will make arrangements to come to your area to pick up the equipment IF within Arizona.
Thanks a billion,
Donna C

OK...OK...I'm sorry!
I guess that I missed this whole issue before. Never heard of any of it. I just spent about 20 minutes doing a search on this lady and her "fire dept". If she wants to help and has good intentions, fine. But I think a carefull review of everything I have read indicates she is a confirmed nutcase! I think that instead of being called the "Bridge Canyon VFD" it should be called the "Fruits, Nuts & Flakes VFD"!

How did a post from 2003 from a person no longer active suddenly reappear on the forum?
"The education of a firefighter and the continued education of a firefighter is what makes "real" firefighters. Continuous skill development is the core of progressive firefighting. We learn by doing and doing it again and again, both on the training ground and the fireground."

This one should go to the "What's Hot; What's Not for 2005" thread.
As strains of "Auld Lang Syne" play in the background, we bid you good bye and good riddance.
