    Lightbulb Fundraising

It's great to see young people getting involved with the fire and ems service. As for fundraising ideals. This past summer I assisted our Aux. and Cadet program with a Golf Scramble. We were able to clear over $4000.00 for the day. This does take a good bit of planning and leg work. Contact your local golf course, they should be a great asset for you. Keep up the good work!

My post did non-stop fundraising for a good 2 years because we needed enough money to go to the national conference at the NFA. It was well worth the hard work.

    Here are a few ideas:

    • My post painted ALL the fire hydrants in the city. Wow, that was a job.
    • Collected cans during annual city events (that Michigan 10 cent deposit adds up quick!)
    • Delivered phone books – take my advice, don’t do this one.
    • Painted sign posts in the city

We had a few others, but these were the major ones.

Thank you, my post does a lot of fundraising, and we always make good money. We are doing a car wash this weekend.

    It never ends.
