STLFN: ST. LOUIS, MO: STLFD has a 1st Alarm for a fire in a commercial building at Grand and Martin Luther King. Pumper 17 reported smoke showing on arrival. BC801 reports fire on the 1st floor of a vacant building. 2 lines off. PUMPERS: 17, 10, 29, 5 ,8 ,HL 2, BC 801 and 805, SQUAD 2. /STL819. 11:19p.m.

1950 F21 Stratford 4 pump fire at 21 Grove Crescent Rd, derelict 3-sty factory 75m x 10m, roof fire using 2 hosereels, TIC.

0952 - Building fire, 9951 Harwin at Allday, Districts 10-69 Engines 10-60-51-69, Ladders 51-69; E-60 reports large fire in power company storage yard, probably transformers. 1004 - 2-11 alarm = Districts 28-82, E-68-73-76-28, L-76-6, Rescue 11. Adjacent Box at 3777 S. Gessner & Windswept at 1013 for Districts 5-21, E-57-2-49-48, L-28-68, for same fire, diverted to the 2-11 on arrival (basically a 3-11 response). Haz-Mat units and foam pumper responded and controlled fire in two large transformers in about an hour. At height of fire, flames were almost 100 feet in the air, smoke visible from all over town.
