Is there any fire departments out there that have SOG's for riding positions for car wrecks? My department has them for structure fires. Any feed is welcomed.

EMTs get preferance on the Rescue. Other than that we fill out the engine company and/or the rest of the rescue as usual.

We actually just instituted riding positions a few months back.
For MVA's the positions are as follows:
1 - 2
3 4 5
1: Driver
2: Officer
3: Stablization / Hoseline
4: Cutters / Ram
5: Spreaders
OFFICER
Tools: Safety Glasses, Set of Irons
Responsibilities:
· Initial Size-Up, if First Officer on Scene
· Circle-Check of Vehicle
· Coordinate Extrication
· Assist with Vehicle Stabilization
· Assist in Clean-up of Operation
VEHICLE STABILIZATION / HOSELINE
Tools: Safety Glasses, Cribbing, Hoseline
Responsibilities:
· Stabilize Vehicle
· Battery Disablement, If Necessary
· Stand-by with Hoseline
· Assist in Clean-up of Operation
CUTTERS / RAM
Tools: Safety Glasses, Cutters, Ram
Responsibilities:
· Layout of Extrication Tools
· Operate Cutters / Ram as Necessary
· Assist in Clean-up of Operation
SPREADERS
Tools: Safety Glasses, Spreaders
Responsibilities:
· Layout of Extrication Tools
· Operate Spreaders as Necessary
· Assist in Clean-up of OperationIACOJ Agitator
