Oh, yeah, JT is still involved. I don't remember seeing him at the last MABAS meeting but he does come to the Chief's meetings and keeps us well informed. I'm sure he had input in the application.

It's too late now, but Mikew coulda stopped to ead at Applebees in Mt Vernon asd said hi to my daughter. she'll be working there for the next week or so and then head back up by us-just as the wife and I were getting used to having an empty house.

Hey, cap, my daughter gets to Applebee's once in a while with her new flame. Maybe they'll see each other - what's her first name and I'll tell Laura to look for her.
I know the feeling about getting used to the empty house and having them come back home. You're not the only one with that situation. I remember something about you saying you were wondering how long the Centralia thing was going to last. Guess that means you won't be coming down here to visit, huh?Jack Boczek, Chief

Her name is Renee. She is going to stay down long enough to make a car payment before she heads back up. The way Renee manages her money, it could be spring
No Jack, the Centralia thing didn't last, thank God. Her ex threatened her with abuse. At least she got smart and got the hell out of there.
Who knows, maybe DuBouis and E/PC(Lanark and Pearl City)will meet in the 3A football finals. I haven't had a chance to see many games, but if they did meet, I'd be up for a road trip.Every silver lining's got a touch of grey...I wiilll get by....

No road trip for football. Our school, Nashville, got beat by Herrin Saturday. Season's over for us.
Renee and Laura sound so much alike. Maybe they'll meet, or maybe I might have to take my better half out for supper some night.Jack Boczek, Chief

Renee called tonite and said she's coming home this Tuesday and she's not working tomorrow. So much for that idea too.

Jack, I should change the name of this thread to the saga of a blond daughter. She left Marion at 9 this morning. Now she has decided she will go back to SIU in January and get an apartment in Marion, so she will be back down through your way.
