    Default Hops19 signing on

I joined here about a month ago, but this is only my third post. I thought I would introduce myself. I am 14 years old and involved in Boy Scouts. I want to possibly be a medic in a special ops unit someday.

    Thumbs up

Hops, welcome! Your interest so early is great, and it's terrific you're thinking ahead. Be as involved as you can be with training to see if it truly IS something you want to do. Keep your regular school right in the forefront, as that's most important right now. With you thinking ahead though (again, applauding your efforts here), consider colleges that might offer what you want, as college degrees are SO important today. Best of luck!

    Hops,

    Good luck in your endeavors.

I owe a heck of a lot to the Boy Scouts for the person I am today.

Kevin is right, keep your education priority 1. Also, go for the Eagle. Eagle Scouts can accomplish ANYTHING. (I am Eagle Scout Calss of 1989)

    Take care

    Welcome to the forums.

Another good idea is looking into Explorers.

Welcome... Look in to any options that are possible. The more experience early the better in deciding if you really want to get into EMS. Good luck.
