I started to collect them when they came out. I have the entire 1st series, including Squad 1. It became a little expensive so I never got many more. I did get the "Emergency" ones and one from Boston.

I'm maiting to get my first order shipped out to me.
It's really hard to find diecasts of Us firetrucks and engines over here.
Corgi has some good ones, but they cost you an arm and a leg.
Found out about Code 3 through this site, and they look great.

I have a small collection of WM300 Dodge Powerwagon fire trucks, distributed by First Gear. There is still nothing that comes close to it's off road performance....!

Does anyone know where to get a SMALL order of custom toy cop cars? I've looked all over. Usually a minimum is required. I only want two!

I have a bunch of them.

I have all the ambulances with the new freightliners from Miami and Jacksonville. Then I have a mixture of fire and rescue rigs. I like to pick up the freightliner engines because its what we use here in Nashville...kinda of unique for a city our size.

I had one of the Miami-Dade helicopters but my wife broke it when we moved this summer. Now, its sold out....ouch.

Favorite is a FDNY Battalion set I picked up post 9/11 when they were splitting the profits with the widows fund. I got all of the heavy rescues pre 9/11 which is special I think since the replacements don't look the same.

For a small order of custom ANYTHING try Rich at: www.roadblockers.net He does some awesome work.

There are a few of us loyal Code 3 forums members that stray over to this area now and again. I myself have more than 100 Code 3 trucks.

Come on over and check out the maddness at the Code 3 board!

Hey look for Geneva Truck 206 in about a year. We are having Code 3 make a die-cast version of our snorkle.

Please don't take this in the wrong tone, but what makes you so sure that Code 3 intends on making your truck? I work with a department that had even had Code 3 come out and take the "final" pre-production photos, tell them they were making their truck and then get snuffed. This happens to a lot more departments than you would think. As somebody who follows Code 3 pretty close, trust me. Either way, good luck though. I hope you do get your truck made!

In reply to RescuHoppy's question; To have Code 3 make your truck is pretty dang tough. Your best chances seem to be A. It's FDNY, or B. REALLY original. If you go to their website www.code3.net there is a link to email Code 3, or an address to send them pictures of your truck. They get tons of submissions so don't hold your breath.

The only one I have is Engine 51 of the Los Angeles Fire Department
On another fourm board I belong to we were having this discussion about what current LA County FD units other than the E Series we'd like to see Code 3 create, The most popular is one of the firehawk's Copter 16 or 19

Besides sending your truck to www.code3.net to have them look at making it, check out: www.fireengines.net This is a web site that is dedicated to scale fire engines. If you look under the kit-bash section listed under Collectors Helping Collectors you'll see some amazing custom made trucks. Some of these people are making custom trucks for hire. That might be a place for you to start.

    Default BUMP!!!

Anyone out there collect these things? Got started about 2 months ago, and haven't stopped since!

Just a question while I'm here, does anyone know if Virginia Beach E-7, E-9, E-11, and E-16 ever got released? On E-5's dome, it states that 5 of the 6 Pierce Quantums would be released in the series, but I've yet to see any of the rest of them. Anybody have them, and if so, would you be willing to part with them?

I'm not aware of any VB engines other than than E-5. They did, however, also release a VB Suburban. There's a couple of those on eBay right now (search for "Code 3 Virginia Beach" and you should find them).

I've been collecting C3 for about 6 years now and have about 70-80 pieces in my collection.

Big news is that they're releasing the FDNY Super Pumper system next quarter. It will include all 5 apparatus (the Super Pumper, the Super Tender and the three Mack C Satellites).

Bet it'll cost an arm and a leg too!

Thanks for the VB info, SafetyPro! I'm winning the bid on one of those VBFD B-1 buggies as we speak, just wanted to make sure there weren't any VB pieces that I had overlooked or somehow missed.

And yes Bou, I have a LA County Crown in my collection, too... I heard Mini-Me is very fond of them!

BAD NEWS- You letting Mini-Mi play with it. Good god man,

I have over 200 of them, including EVERY FDNY release they have ever come out with. Also most of the Chicago and Boston as well as a wide assortment of others.

I have about 50 models (mostly Corgi) in my display case. I built an oak cabinet with glass doors to hold my collection. I prefer the antique rigs to the new ones although I did purchase the model of the Orange County Chopper fire bike to add to my display.
