Is there a book or anything out that highlights the potential problems points to deal with when extricating a patient from a newer model vehicle. ie location of compressed gas cylinders, pre tensioners, and airbag locations. If so whats it called and where can you obtain it?

Holmatro sells a book, named something Vehicle Rescuer's Guide, for around $100 or $150 bucks. It will give you location of battery, air bags, sensors, seat belt tensioners, etc. for all vehicles that were made at that time.

You can't go past Ron Moore's 2nd Edition Vehicle Extrication book....
If you like these forums and the articles that Ron writes for the web and the Firehouse magazine, then you'll love this book....
